Navicula will return to Jakarta for their first shows since touring the US in Nov-Dec 2012, and filling a headlining slot at Sydney Festival this Jan 2013.

Following the recording sessions in Los Angeles at Record Plant Studios, Navicula started their USA Tour across California. After performing in Berkeley, Davis, and San Francisco last week, Navicula was invited by California event company Numbskull Productions to perform in Ventura, California on Dec 6 and to open for HR of legendary punk band Bad Brains on Dec 7 in Bakersfield, California.

Navicula woke up to a BuddhaFull morning under the shadow of Borobudur. We arrived late the night before after finishing a gig at Sangkring Art Space in Jogja and didn’t realize that our hotel, Manohara, was actually located on the Borobudur Temple grounds, just meters from the world’s biggest Buddhist Temple.

After touring Canada, Navicula flew direct from Toronto to Kalimantan to kick off the Borneo Tour. Navicula will tour Central and West Kalimantan (Borneo) on motorbike with Greenpeace and their Mata Harimau bikers to witness both the beauty and the destruction of the rainforest.
